Authentic Turkish style bellydance steps with a pop sensibility. Learn hip isolations, undulations, travel steps, graceful arms and hands. Intro to the 9/8 rhythm and skirt work.

Dawn Gündüz is an international artist, choreographer and director of the 2009 and 2010 Florida State Bellydance Ensemble Champions, Sultana Dance Ensemble, and certified bellydance instructor in the Serena Technique. Dawn performs every Friday night at Leila Restaurant in downtown West Palm Beach. She began bellydancing in 1999 with the legendary Serena Wilson in NYC. In 2004 she traveled to Turkey to study with famed dancer and teacher, Sema Yildiz. Returning in 2006 to perform at the Orient House in Istanbul. In 2009, she was 1 of 20 dancers worldwide selected to participate in Jillina’s 1^st annual weeklong intensive in Los Angelos. She also choreographed and starred in a Bellydance/Pilates Fitness video of beginners, “Bellydance: The Fun and Feminine Total Toning Workout. She is also featured in Jillina’s Al Dunia Dance Showcase and that DVD is available from Hollywood Music.
